About Us
Prachya Bharati Senior Secondary School, Guwahati, established in 2008 at Ganeshguri as a Junior College, was founded with the sincere purpose of imparting quality education at the Higher Secondary level. From its inception, the institution has offered Science, Commerce, and Arts streams, aiming to build a strong academic foundation and prepare students for higher education and professional success.
In compliance with the Government of India’s New Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the institution was renamed as Prachya Bharati Senior Secondary School in 2021, continuing its Higher Secondary courses (Classes XI & XII) under the Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB), Division II — formerly known as AHSEC.
Building on this foundation, in the 2024–25 academic session, the school expanded further by introducing Classes I to X with due permission from the ASSEB, Division I — formerly known as SEBA. This transformation has enabled Prachya Bharati to become a complete institution from Class I to XII.

Prachya Bharati Educational Society
P rachya Bharati Educational Society is a registered body under the Society Registration Act XXI of 1860. The head office of the Society is located at Hastinapur, Nayanpur, about 100 metres from Ganeshguri, Guwahati-781005, Assam.
The society aims to facilitate higher education in professional and technical courses for the youth of the region. It strives to impart quality education under the guidance of an academic body consisting of reputed academicians and administrators, while providing state-of-the-art laboratory facilities and encouraging industry interaction.
