Prachya Bharati Senior Secondary School, Guwahati established in 2008 as a Junior College was founded with the sincere intention and noble purpose of imparting quality education to the students at higher secondary level. The school offers a diverse range of streams including Science, Commerce and Arts, aiming to provide a strong educational foundation and prepare students for their future academic and professional pursuits.
Building on this foundation, the institution expanded in the 2024-25 session by introducing classes I to X. The expansion is part of our commitment to creating a well-rounded environment equipped with essential facilities to further enrich our student’s educational journey. With a holistic approach to education, we have assembled a team of highly qualified and experienced teachers who are dedicated to providing an environment that not only focuses on academic excellence but also promotes a healthy lifestyle and the overall well-being of the whole child.

In compliance with the Government of India's New Education Policy 2020, the college started classes from to XII from the year 2021 and renamed the Prachya Bharati College as Prachya Bharati Senior Secondary School. With this addition of school, the institution has got an added advantage of moulding a child's innate potentialities through quality education from a very nascent stage, and preparing them to move ahead in the course of higher education and future professional career. The institution will leave no stone unturned for creating an adequate environment and facilities for education as well as for professional and technical courses for the benefit of the strength of the North-East region. It strives to impart quality education under the guidance of the Educational Society & Academic Body consisting of highly experienced, reputed academicians and administrators.

Prachya Bharati Educational Society
Prachya Bharati Educational Society is a registered body under Society Registration Act XXI of 1860. The head office of the Society is located at Hastinapur, Nayanpur which is about 100 metres from Ganeshguri, Guwahati-781005, Assam. The society aims to facilitate the higher education in professional and technical courses for the benefit of the youths of the region. It thrives to impart quality education under the guidance of the academic body consisting of highly experienced and reputed academicians and administrators. The institute will provide best of laboratory facilities and regular interactions with industrial and business houses.
