1. Attendance & Punctuality
- Students must maintain a minimum attendance of 75% for each session.
- Punctuality is essential, and students should arrive on time for all classes and school activities.
Regular Collegiate Students
- Students must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance to be considered as Regular Collegiate Students.
Non-Collegiate (NC) Students
- Students with attendance between 65% to 75% will be classified as Non-Collegiate (NC).
Dis-Collegiate (DC) Students
- Students with attendance below 65% will be classified as Dis-Collegiate (DC).
Attendance will be counted from the first day of joining the
classes until the date of Form Fill-up for the H.S. 1st and H.S. 2nd Year Final Examinations, respectively.
Students listed as Non-Collegiate (NC) or Dis-Collegiate (DC) must pay their fine. Failure to do so will result in no Admit Cards being issued for the final exams.
2. Uniform & Identity Card
- Students are expected to wear the proper school uniform every day.
- Identity cards must be worn by all students at all times.
3. Respect & Behavior
- Students should always be considerate, polite, courteous, and respectful to their teachers and fellow students.
- No use of foul language or disrespectful behavior will be tolerated.
4. Mobile Phones & Gadgets
- The use of mobile phones or any similar gadgets is strictly prohibited in school, except with prior permission from the authorities.
5. Language Use
- Students must communicate in English in all classes, except during Hindi and Assamese language classes
6. Personal Hygiene & Appearance
Students should maintain proper personal hygiene and keep a neat and tidy appearance, including:
Trimmed nails
Polished shoes
Proper haircuts
7. Care of School Property
- Students are responsible for taking care of school property and must ensure that classrooms and school premises are kept clean and tidy.
- Damage to school property is a serious offense and will result in a fine.
8. Classroom Preparedness
- Students must come prepared for each class with all necessary school books and materials.
- They should follow all instructions given by the teachers.
9. Campus Movement
- Leaving the campus without permission from the Principal is strictly prohibited.
10. Lunch & Nutrition
- Students should bring healthy and nutritious food in their lunch boxes.
- No junk food or unhealthy snacks are allowed.
11. Jewelry & Cosmetics
- Students should avoid wearing jewelry, valuable items, or cosmetics to school.
12. Motor Vehicles
- Students may only bring motorbikes or scooters to school if they possess a valid license.
- Wearing helmets is compulsory while riding.
13. Borrowing & Lending
- Lending or borrowing money or items among students is not permitted.
14. Books & Other Materials
- Only textbooks or literature books should be brought to school, unless specific permission is given for other materials (magazines, CDs, pen drives, etc.).
15. Classroom Movement
- Students must change classrooms in an orderly and silent manner. They should not leave the classroom unnecessarily between periods.
16. School Property Respect
- Students are expected to respect all school property. Writing or drawing on walls and school furniture is forbidden. Appropriate fine to repair or replace the item will be imposed on any student found indulging in such activities.
- If any property is damaged, even accidentally, it should be immediately reported to the teacher or Principal.
- Students are liable to pay for any loss or damage caused to the school properties or belonging of others. The whole group or class will be fined if no one accepts his/her/their fault
17. Prohibited Items
- Weapons or objects that can cause injury are strictly forbidden.
18. Prohibited Practices
- The following behaviors are prohibited:
- Spitting or chewing pan masala.
- Damage to school property.
- Smoking or consuming intoxicants.
- Gambling.
- Drug use, except on a doctor's prescription.
- Violent behavior or any form of physical altercation.
19. Leave Applications
- In case of absence, students must provide a leave application, signed by their parents or guardians.
- If absent due to illness, medical documents should accompany the leave request.
20. Library
- Library is meant to be used for serious reading/study. Strict silence to be maintained in the library.
- Library books must be returned by the due date in proper condition. Any damage to the books will be penalized.
- Underlining or dog-earring any page of a library book is considered damaging to the book and is prohibited.
- Students are to ensure that all books and journals are put back in their proper places before leaving the library.
- The Library is open on all working days from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM with half an hour break for lunch
21. School Timings & Morning Assembly
- Students should reach the school by 9:00 AM.
- Students should assemble on the assembly ground at the bell of 9:05 AM sharp.
- After the assembly, students should move to their respective classrooms in silence to maintain discipline and order.
- The gates of the school will be closed. Late comers to be allowed to enter only at 9:15 AM after making an entry in the Late Comer Register at the gate.
22. Examination Rules
- Silence and Seating
- Students must enter the examination hall in complete silence and remain seated quietly in their designated seats.
Personal Belongings
- Students should ensure that no papers, books, handbook, calculators, mobile phones, or previous question papers are on their desks, instrument boxes, or in their pockets. lf any such items are found they must immediately inform the invigilator, who will remove them. Possession of such materials will be considered as an attempt to use unfair means, and appropriate penalties will be applied.
Allowed ltems
- Only the following items are allowed in the examination hall: a writing board, the admit card, an instrument box, and necessary writing and drawing materials. No other items should be brought into the examination hall to avoid the possibility of unfair practices.
Uniform Compliance
- Students must come with proper full school uniform along with lD cards.
Disruption and Communication
- Students should not engage in talking, disturbing others, or communicating (either verbally or through signs) during the examination.
Use of Unfair Means
- Any student found using unfair means {such as copying, assisting others to copy, or bringing unauthorized texts or books) will be disqualified from the examination for that subject and awarded no marks or grade. The student will still be allowed to take the remaining exams.
Answer Book
- Students must fill in all required details on the lD page of the answer book, including the subject name and set number (if applicable).
- All pages of the answer book and additional sheets must be numbered.
- No personal details such as name, class, roll number, section, or any identifying marks should be written anywhere in the answer book, on additional sheets, graphs, or maps, except for the lD page.
- All additional sheets must be securely tied with a double knot or stapled when submitting the answer book.
Question Paper
- Students must read the entire question paper as soon as they receive it, during the allotted time, and clear any doubts they have. No further clarifications or doubts will be entertained after this period.
- The question paper must be left in the student's place, along with the answer book, if the student needs to leave the examination hall for any reason.
- lt is strictly prohibited to take the question paper out of the examination hall.
- Writing on the question paper is not allowed.
Permission to Leave the Hall During the Examinations
- No student will be permitted to leave the examination hall during the first 60 minutes or the last 30 minutes of the exam.
- Only one student at a time will be allowed to leave the hall during the examination, with the invigilator's permission.
Completion of the Examination
- Students will only be allowed to leave the examination hall after the warning bell, once they have submitted their answer book.
- Before submitting the answer book, students should verify that all required details are filled in on the lD page.
- Students should check and ensure that all pages, including additional sheets, maps, etc., are numbered correctly. The total number of pages used must be recorded on the lD page.
- Students are permitted to write until the final bell. Upon hearing the final bell, they must immediately stop writing and hand over their answer book.
- Students who fail to submit their answer scripts to the invigilator will receive a zero for that subject. However they will be allowed to continue with the remaining examinations.
22. Self-Discipline
- Students must follow the rules of discipline and maintain good behavior at all times.
- Self-discipline is a core value of the school and a key to personal growth and success.
23. Medical Assistance
- Parents/Guardians should inform the school authorities regarding any ailment their child is suffering from in order for the school to provide timely assistance. This information regarding the health and medical needs of the student will help the school to ensure adequate medical care.
24. Amendments
- These rules are established to ensure a safe, respectful, and productive environment for all students. Non-compliance with any of these regulations may result in disciplinary action.
- These rules are approved by the Managing Committee which reserves the right to amend, modify, or add or delete any rule through resolutions / office orders / circulars from time to time and all such amendments, modifications, additions and subtraction shall take effect from the date as stated therein and shall be binding on all.
- Principal is the interpreter of these rules. He/She may, if necessary, notwithstanding anything contained in these rules, suspend the operation of or make an exception to any particular rule for the best interest of the school and report the fact in writing with reasons thereof to the Managing Committee for their information and advice.
