Prachya Bharati Senior Secondary School, Guwahati, established in 2008 as a Junior College, was founded with the noble vision of imparting quality education to students at the higher secondary level. Over the years, the institution has grown into a trusted name in education, offering a diverse range of streams including Science, Commerce, and Arts. With a strong focus on academic excellence, character building, and holistic development, the school is dedicated to nurturing young minds and preparing them for future academic, professional, and personal success.
In the academic session 2024–25, Prachya Bharati took a significant step forward by introducing classes I to X, expanding from a higher secondary institution into a full-fledged school. This milestone reflects our vision to create a continuous and comprehensive learning environment where students can begin their journey from the foundational years and grow under the same nurturing roof up to the higher secondary stage.

Established in the year 2008, Prachya Bharati Senior Secondary School, formerly known as Prachya Bharati College, has been through extra-ordinary successful years. With glorious results and promising academic brilliance the college had always been one of the most flourishing institutions at the heart of Guwahati city. And now with the addition of the school section from class I to XII, the institution will get an extra mileage as a premier institution of the state.
Institution's own building is equipped with capacious classrooms, well assembled laboratories, an enriched library with more than 3000 books of various fields, a spacious auditorium of its own along with an extensive car parking facility. Our professional commitment is all set to inspire, motivate and educate every student for better academic performances by providing selfless services and intense personal care. Our faculty members pay home visits to our students quite regularly and specially before final examination.
